snow miracle

snow fell today for the 3rd time and is in fact, currently still falling.
pretty unusual here this side of the country but its just lovely to watch.
and if i can say so, theres a particular scent to snow in the air that is breathtaking.

evacuate the dance floor

having a lot of fun with the xbox. the kids freaking love it--belle kicks major ass on call of duty world at war (the nazi zombie level is the creepiest!!) and both of the girls rule at black ops. i just enjoy watching them do that stuff, i am not coordinated enough to juggle all the possibilities i just rapid fire like a tard until im dead while screaming so less with the point. we all love the kinect sensor games, esp the dance party one, which is an awesome workout as well. plus, the netflix subscription thing is amazing, we have like major movies on demand (better than comcast's current offerings) and a ton of older stuff plus starz and i can watch one thing on the laptop and another on the tv as well as order dvds through the mail too. it's bloody brilliant.

which leads me to the next big thing, the green hornet movie. holy shit if this isn't received like the best movie gift to us in months that it is i will be both stunned and disappointed in my fellow man. i want to make it appear instantly in the head of everyone i ever met it was so good. funnnnnny as hell, amazing action, great fantastic cast, gorgeous to die for cars plus fights!!!! seth rogen is bad ass and james franco's cameo is the bomb lol, literally. kato is no bruce lee, but hes so awesomely funny he doesn't have to be, plus hes hot and a perv and he can draw and fight and he looks great on a bike and and and so....nerd-vana.
i was lucky and got to see this in a free sneak preview screening thursday and if i have my way i'll be watching it again friday cause it is so worth it. good to note--my sneak preview was one of the 3D ones but this movie was not really a good forum for three dimensions, it just blair witches it up a bit and blurs the print. save yourself a headache (literally) and a couple bucks and see it regular.

indoor weather station

well having a super chilled back bedroom is proving daily to be more interesting and momentarily, scary. of course, the lava lamp which is still lit and functioning, is nonetheless, in a solid ball and not, um, lava-ing any. so i guess my room is cold enough to cool lava. i did wear the hat cause my hair was still wet and in a rare moment of indulgence, turned on the tiny space heater for a bit. the light and fan were off but in short order the ceiling fan started to turn of its own accord and that gave me a serious jolt of wtf before i deduced the culprit. just weird cause i wouldnt have expected the room was big enough to create the necessary temp change to generate the ceiling fan's apparent revolving on its own volition. being able to see my breath in the morning aside, its warm enough once i get under the covers for a while. i suppose i could try the futon in the warmer 60 degree living room but its just not as comfy as my bed.

worst ever.
rainy, lonely, and i just dont like to drink booze so i couldn't even tap that well for relief.
i really hope its the last one i have to sit through, although i know how it sounds.

i dont suspect im mannic depressive anymore because if i was there would be up times. so perhaps i have graduated to sc depressive.
